I teach it with great relish every semester in World Lit II.

I first read it about 45 years ago when I was ten. We had a set of Books of Knowledge parts of which were interesting to a child. It was instantly captivating even at that age although I thought the poet was using a bad word at the 'bloody sun' bit. I've read it several times since and it never fails to grip. I've always had a preference for epic poetry.

I read it over thirty years ago and still have part memorized. In fact, you've inspired me to reread it.

Studied it in school and have liked it ever since.It is easy to read and the words flow.The many moods of the sea and mystycism are spell binding.I don't think it will ever go out of fashion.
