I know what phimosis is but I'm not sure if I have it or not. I know that when my penis gets erect it is possible for the foreskin to slip behind the glans but it tends to hurt alot most of the time it happens and usually I have to try to calm down to let it slip back in front of it so it wont hurt so much so I'm not sure if I actually have it or not. Should I just go and ask a doctor about it and see what he says?

Assuming that you're old enough for it to retract fully, then your doctor will probably show you how to stretch it or give you some cream that will help. This is not full-blown phimosis since you can retract. It's just a bit tight, and no competent doctor would recommend circumcision for your condition. If a doctor does, get a second opinion, as this is NOT something you want done to you, and there's no way it's necessary. If you're a young teen, then waiting may be all that is needed.

In all likelihood, asking the doctor will clear things up for you. Don't worry - doctors see penises every day and won't be embarrassed to look at yours. You don't have anything the doctor hasn't seen before, believe me!
