I need to save a powerpoint or openoffice document onto a CD-rom and I have no idea how?

The only way you can do that is to burn the file onto the CD using a CD-R or CD-RW, and for one file that can be a prodigious waste of space. So, instead, try using a USB flash drive. You can get one at your local office max or computer store for under 20 bucks (if its about 128 MB or less, which should be enough for a document some pictures and a few songs.

while in the Powerpoint document, go to SAVE AS then select the letter drive of the CD drive as the destination.

I agree with the use of flashdrives. Office Max, Office Depot, CompUSA in my city are practically giving away 128mb. Last week you could buy a 1G for $20. Lots of sales on now because of the holidays.

Watch your local paper for ads. Try www.bizrate.com and run a search for a list of retailers listed by price.

do ur cds say rewritable? also examine to c in the journey that they are dvd cds or like sparkling record ones, if tht dosent paintings attempt one in all those usb plug ins tht keep ur powerpoint or record on them as well desire tht helps : )
