my computer has on board graphics...there are soooo many video cards to choose from ...What ,if there is any ,would be the best deal for around $100...I just want a general good card...I'm not a game freak....Yet...I have a compaq 2.2gig athlon64 amd 1.5 gig ram.....Any help is appreciated..

it depends on if you plan to play games.
if you don;t you can get i decent card for 40$ i think. its a gforce 128 MB graphics card. its pci though.
If you plan to plan games you should get atleast 256 MB graphics card. but it might be hard to find one under $100.

If you have an AGP port I would go with a geForce 6600GT - good all around, and the cheapest card you can get that has shader model 3.0 - for games like oblivion.

you can get a decent GEforce 7300 with 256 mb for around 70-80 bucks...

Check these out...Make sure to find out if your computer has PCI Express, AGP, or PCI capabilities...so that you choose the correct card type...
