Bronzes and browns are an excellent choice. I wear a lavender eyeliner pencil only, I get a lot of complements.

I have the same thing. Almay makes an eyeshadow set that is made specifically for different eye colors. I have brown eyes also and I made my own combo of a light lavender eyeshadow for the part closest to the lash line, light off-white/tan shimmery color for below the brow line and a nice cocoa brown for the crease. I have gotten a lot of compliments when I wear that. Also whenever I use an opalescent color along the brow bone, light sky blue along the bottom/above eyelashes and a medium blue in the crease. Just a few ideas. Hope they help!

yes...I love this question there is a makeup specifically for your eyes and its Almay Intese eyeshadow its a duo compact that has three different eye shadows that you use on your eyes you put one on the crease and the other on the lid and the other one underneath the eyebrow.
You can get it at walmart and its really cheap to . That goes great for your eyes it has purple eyeshadow and I always use eyeliner to bring out my eyes since I think that is my best feature .which is known to bring out your eyes.I
hardly ever wear brown eyeshadow with my brown eyes because I think it makes it more mirky since brown eyes can wear about any shade
I would reccomend blue, pink, defintely purple ,a light blue not dark because that will be to harsh and it will make you look like you have a black eye and a light hazel color would work to and gray looks great with brown eyes.
gold works as well but make sure its not to gold you dont want to end like an oompa loompa and also silver looks good with brown eyes, but make sure it is an opaque silver not a dark muddy silver oh yeah and yellow really works but make sure is a pretty yellow like hip pigments from loreal it has irrisdent lights to it and it also has to do with the shape of your eye and how dark your eyes are really.
.Hopes this help.
sometimes I wear a brownish -black mascara.

Well, it depends on what color in your eyes you want to bring out. You use contrasting colors on the color wheel to bring the specific colors out.
For example, if you wanted to make your eyes look more green, you'd want to choose a shadow that was near red on the color wheel (like purple or orange.) Light pinks also do a good job of bringing the green out.
However, bringing brown out is harder because it, well, doesn't really have a spot on the color wheel. I'd reccomend using a light, shimmery blue to make your brown eyes pop.
Good luck!

Well for brown eyes, the recommended color is purples. But since they turn green also, you should use a greenish color with tiny gold flecks in it. The green will really play up your brown eyes and the gold flecks will show off your green eyes. You'll love it, i promise! =) plus, with an eyecolor as cool as that, you could get away with anything!

It’s actually the colour and highlights of your hair rather than the colour of your eyes that will guide you through the colour range to find your perfect shades. A colour may appear softer or brighter, depending on how light or dark your complexion is. Products sheer in texture will reveal themselves only on a pale complexion; deeper skin tones require richer textures with shimmer.
The warm palette—champagne, peach, copper, warm green, or golden brown—suits women with golden blonde, strawberry blonde, red, or brown hair with golden undertones.
The cool palette—pink, violet, blue, turquoise, cool green, or brown—looks great with grey, ash blond, brown with burgundy undertones, or black hair.
The neutral colours—peach, grey, or neutral brown—are universal for every complexion and hair.
Highlighting a spot above the iris with a complimentary eyeshadow will enhance the iris colour. Burgundy accentuates green; golden brown is good for blue; soft peach or apple green for grey; and violet or light blue for brown eyes.

Purple colors in general are best for brown eyes.
Lilac or Lavender are great shades for a day look.
For something geared more towards a sexy night look, try dark violet such as Plum or Grape.

It depends on your skin color.
For darker skin, a light gold usually looks dashing.
For lighter skin, green shadow is rather pretty.
