Not one person, but several people, yes. I asked a question on yahoo answers and, much to my surprise, several people gave me the same general answer. It really was only validation of something that I already believed, but hearing that others felt the same way was comforting; consequently, it influenced my actions.

Yes, more than once; the ones that get to me though, were the ones who called me a liar regarding my past traumas in life- like I don't know what happened to me! Come on already- I find it disrespectful when someone places judgment on words and not getting the whole story, placing yourself in another individuals shoes. So far though, I haven't had to deal with that- I have had some wonderful users here who had stood by me, all strangers but nevertheless are courteous enough to give me the time of day.

I will say that I have been helped and given good tips here and there. "Influenced" is a strong word. Not sure that my life has been influenced or significantly changed by another person. Enriched? yes. Influenced? no.

Yep I have...kara once asked a question if people ever left comments when they got best answer and that it only takes a few seconds to say thank you...I added thank you's to my other best answers and from then on whenever I got a best answer I would leave a nice comment or at least a thank you...ahhh thank you!
