I see some ratings saying this is a bad question, when no one has an answer?
this seriously brings into question the ability of some to reason logically.
if you can't answer it, then that would suggest a goood quesion would it not?

Has it really become unacceptable? I hadn't heard, but I'll take your word for it.

Anyway, I suppose if it is unacceptable for children to drink milk from their mother's breast, it is only because we have been socialized into thinking that way. When I saw "we" I mean adults, of course (because children are still biologically attracted to the breast milk from birth). It is a natural process that should be allowed to be carried out. After all, it seems to me that the entire reason women have breasts (and nipples) is for the purpose of giving milk to their children after childbirth (like most other animals do), so why shun it?

It's weird that we don't find it odd to drink the breast milk of a cow (or goat, or whatever animal people choose to drink milk from). I for one barely give it a second thought that I'm drinking a bodily fluid from another animal, but again, that's just something we've been socialized into doing by society.

(As a side note, I just realized that if the entire reason women have breasts and nipples is to produce milk to give to their offspring, then another logical question would be: why do men have nipples? Did men also give milk at one point in evolution? If so, why did we stop? Why didn't the nipples go away? They certainly serve no modern purposes...)
