it completely a scam, I just received an e-mail from lottery UK tellin me I won a million of ( £ ) ponds but when I search the name of the company in the net I found out that the company is a scam. I read a lot of story in the net and the e-mail they send and the wordings and plot of the message are quite similar. My advice w/ you mate, if you received such kind of e-mail search the name of company first then have a look around if the company is legitimate, and then published the email they send via blog or any website you could find so to help innocent people from this rogue bustered fishing the net for victims. My verdict this disgusting scrupulous e-mail are completely fraud.

Shouldn't think so. How can you win a lottery that you haven't entered ? There are an awful lot of scams out there. I had another one turn up yesterday.

Here's just one link relating to on-line lottery scams :

You are one among the million who consider these scam-spam mails as true.

Just learn to ignore all such mails.

If you are not able to believe this just copy the email ID from where the message came from and do a google or yahoo search, it will give the list of forum where many might be discussing on these scams.

Now these scammers are into Mobile Phone selling scam and be aware of that.

If you use Yahoo Mail, go to Options, General Preferences.
Here, opt to display full headers.
The next time you are told you won a lottery, select the whole e-mail and copy, then paste it in the message box of an e-mail and send it to an abuse organization for shutdown. These people are looking to steal your identification so they can clean you out.

There is no such a creature. They are all scams and anyone who falls for them loses a lot of money or their identity. Just delete them. No lottery would have you pay to get your winnings.

They are ALL scams. If you reply they will ask you for an "admin fee". Guess what happens then? Yes, they take your money and you never hear from them again.

And that's just if you're lucky. Some stupid sods have given out their bank account details and had their bank account emptied and their identity stolen.

You don't get money for nothing. Delete all emails offering it.

I know of no one who has. But as you imply here, many, many of the so-called lotteries on the internet are carried by phishers -- flat out deceivers and as you would suggest, scam artists...
