So far I haven't seen anything except a young man who is being pushed into a race he can't win by people who think the "race card" will give him a boost. Are you a black person who wants to see a black person in the White House, just because of his color? Or are you a white person who wants to see a black person in the the White House just because of his color? What has he done that qualifies him for the job of CEO of the biggest economy in the world? What is his education, personal life, business experience? What does he know about foriegn policy and will the dictators and heads of state take him seriously? What experience has he had in dealing with senators who have been in goverment longer than he has been alive. They will run him ragged and do what they want. Don't kid yourself, right now he is a pretty little sheep being led to slaughter and the conservative party will roast and eat him if he is elected. Can he resist the "Black Caucas" when they demand special attention?
I think he is being used and if he is smart, he will back off until he can carry his own.

A remarkable political phenomenon. Two years ago he was an Illinois state legislator now he is a serious presidential contender. What has he done to deserve this accolade? There is no major piece of legislation he has sponsored. In his book he seems to be on both sides of every issue. His only qualifications seem to be his charisma and his complexion.

I don't trust him. He was partially educated in a Muslim school. He is being pushed by the media, but he doesn't really have that extensive of a resume of qualifications. He claims to be a centrist Democrat, but the DNC would not allow anyone under their banner to be too centrist. It would alienate their base and they will hold him to the left. The fact that Oprah likes him is enough to make me not like him.

I see no experience. Not even a governor. What has he administrated. Just a lot of eye wash and no substance. I'd feel safer with Teddy driving us off another bridge.

In general, it is not recommended to make a decision like this one based on your opinion of a candidate's appearance. Or on your feelings.
Research this person.

Too liberal. Plus it takes more than an endorsement from Oprah to be ready for the White House.

How does Obama "feel about" judicial activism?
Does he know what the term means?
Can he name any examples of it?
Does he have a theory about how to end it?
Unless I know answers to these questions, I don't "feel" anything at all about Obama.

He needs more time to mature in politics. I like the guy but we need a hard core savy politician atm. The Republicans will eat him alive, chew him up and spit him back out.

I like him, but I think he's going ahead of himself when he said he was running for president.
