start with the students art league then ask then about your classes they should have some but will be expensive because of that they should also have a handle on cheaper classes also check in the art rags in the city and put out that query on the net thur tou cows or dogpile and see what you snag good luck hope it works

I dont know what kind of art you are interested in.
This artist by the name of RIVEN PHOENIX has created hundred and hundreds of tutorials. best thing is you canwatch them for free on youtube.
He says he has put them up for free to donate his time to underprivaleged people who could never afford to go to art school.
there are some great comments by people who have followed the tutorials.
