I worked at Ingles (a grocery store)I was a cashier, and it really sucked because the manager hated me.He fired me(for no reason might I add)and he didn't even have the balls to call and tell me,I just show up to work and I asked why my name wasn't on the schedule and he said because you don't work here anymore, what a piece of SH*T!!!That was a few months back,I'm 16.My boss was a guy,he was very mean.Yes,it was worth it because that's were I found my boyfriend that I love so much.It lasted about 3 months,it also paid $5.50 an hour.

My first job was working for a Quarter Horse trainer. I fed horses in the a.m. then cleaned stalls . During this time also turned certain horses out to exercises for awhile. Brought them back in,groomed them .Put back in stalls. Feed in the p.m. Go home. Was never what you would call a real interview,He needed help and I needed a flexible schedule so I could train my own horses. So I guess you might say the connivance was worth the lack of pay.

1st job-cashier,boss was a guy,i was 16,it sucks ***, paid 7.75 an hour, its a year and a half later and i still work there(i'm 17 now), the interview they ask how much you work, little about school and why you want the job. Dress nice and make eye contact you'll be in for sure.

Where do you live? In most states 14 is too young to get a job. But maybe not where you live. But look into it, k? Anyways, my first job I kinda lucked into- I got the job through reccommendation and got to skip the whole interview process. But that doesn't normally happen. It was a filing job, and it was boring as heck! But I couldn't complain cuz I got it so easily...

my first job was waiteressing. i loved it because i was good at it and the management loved me and it was a great place to work.

my manager was a male, and he was nice but firm when necessary. i was about 16 when i started.

don't expect to be paid much at such a young age, especially with your first job. what you should really be trying to do is build up your resume with impressive experience and references so eventually you will land that awesome job because you'll be qualified.

my advice to you is to just be yourself, try not to be too nervous, just feel comfortable during the interview and don't act shy - they like outstanding personalities.

good luck to you and merry christmas!

When I was your age, my Mother had a dance school. She and my sister and I taught ballet, tap, jazz, belly dancing, disco (showing my age here) and country dancing. It was fun. We would go to the Dance Master's competition, dance in various productions for organizations around the area, etc. Enjoy your youth, don't rush to grow-up...it isn't that much fun and I am trying desperately to go back to childhood!!! Much love to you and Merry Christmas...
