I'm not sure how far along you are, however it sounds as if you have lost your mucous plug. This helps keep bacteria from entering throught the cervix, during prgnany, when you r cervix softens and dialates it releases. Ocassionally in pieces, usually in one moderate "plug", hence the name. If you are less than 36 weeks...........have someone take you to ER NOW!!! Or call "911!" If you are of viable gestation time......get ready!! The cramping sounds like contractions, you need to time them and call the nearest Labor & delivery floor (hospital) or page your OB/GYN. If you had adequate pre-natal care, and a caring physician all of these questions SHOULD have been addressed!!!
NOW,..............get offline.............and call!!!!
~~GOOD LUCK~~

Ignore the jerks on here! Yes... it's sounds to me like you are in labor. I had the same experience with labor all three times. Because you have the snotty discharge it confirms it for me. If you didn't have that I'd say it could be false labor but... I think it is the real deal. Congratulations! Good luck, God bless and I'll be praying for a safe and healthy delivery! Now hurry... go to the ER.

Go as soon as possible. I was in the same situation @ 26 weeks and waited too long (24 hrs). I had my daughter (1 lb 14 oz)by emergency C-section just a few hours after I got to the hospital. She's twenty years old now, relatively healthy, but we sure went through hell trying to keep her alive the first few months. Don't wait! If it turns out to be nothing much, don't feel like you overreacted! Better safe than sorry. Call your doctor and go right now.

Sounds like you are having a 'Show'. (The Discharge) Now you need to call up your hospital and tell them. They will advise you from here.

I would get to your doctor or go to emergency if your doctor is not open.
If it is early labor they may be able to stop it.

If you think you are in early labor then why the hell are you on here asking about it. Obviously you know what it is or you wouldnt be asking, and in which case you should be getting your butt to a hospital or at least calling your doctor or midwife.

Time to call your doc. It may or may not be labor, but you need to be seen.
