Oh yes. I've read it more than once. LOVE me some Charlotte Perkins Gilman. I think it rocks. Kicks *** big time. It's WAY ahead of its time in feminist writing. Much of her stuff is. Got to get a kick out of utopian literature like that. I think it's WAY underrated. I'd teach it, but I don't have time because it's too long, and I only have a semester.

Yes, I've read it. I think it's a bit contrived and annoyingly sappy. Not Charlotte's best work. A much better work, the one that she's most known for, is a short story entitled "The Yellow Wallpaper". Very deep.
