Just curious. You can answer one of three ways:
1.) Whine behind your keyboards and answer. Or
2.) Put-up http://www.marines.com/page/usmc.jsp?flashRedirect=true Or
3.) STFU and abmit you are hypocrites and cowards.
Take your pick mates!

I realize that many armchair warriors out there will fake being vets on boards to save face. Please list home base, rank, unit, and dates of deployment, discharge, if you want to be taken seriously. Otherwise, I'm calling BS on you.

George Washington faced the same question - he decided it was a person's right to choose.
This is well stated, how can you pro or against a war, if you are not fighting in it?

Good evening.
In 1968 I enlisted and served a term in Viet Nam - I would do the same today in Iraq if I was born 40 years later.
I would have no problem with dehumanizing the dirt bags that have indiscriminately murdered thousands of innocent men, women and children in the name of a demented ideology.
I strongly suspect that you are severely underestimating the supporters of this war on terror. I sincerely believe the "hypocrites and cowards" you speak of, for the most part, are the ones protesting the war because they either can't or won't accept the severity of the Islamic terrorists' agenda. Perhaps it's ignorance, but I suspect it is the delusion that freedom is so natural to human desire that it has no enemies.

poster asshat is a aryan brotherhood racist This post is for that poster asshat.
just because you serve in the military doesnt mean we should give you a thumbs up there asshat. Most people that sign up have nothing going for them. Just because you serve doesnt mean anything. I served for 20 years that dont mean crap unless you went willing and wanted to be there and stood for the cause. Alot of the people that are serving dont even want to be there. And i dont blame them but still and yet you are stating things just to get a crowed pleased. Stop being a wanker.
The ones that want to be there and do there jobs with pride and please thank you to those that ***** and wine and hide at every moment shame on you. I had plenty that i saw on my ship that i wish to god i never faught next to because they were so afraid. This is not a good thing due to the fact they are the ones to run quickest and not have your back. Thats why we should have a military that only has people that have education and that want to be there for sure. Not people trying to get out of poverty or just get a free ride to college and then hope there 4 +1 years go quick.

Well smart a**, are you enlisted? If not, get off your butt and do something. They wouldn't take me because of my back you igmohump. Why don't you STFU?? You and others like you are the biggest hypocrites and whiney babies that our Country has. Our Country is self destructing because of you freakin' peacenik lieberal titty babies.
Personally, I support our troops. Do you??? Or are you another Cindy disgusting Sheehan??? I have the option not to also. I do NOT want someone else raising my children. No one can teach my children the morals and ethics that I have.

I am too old, something you should have considered, duf. Those who did enlist knew perfectly well what the role of a soldier is.
My brother and his two sons in the military. My brother won a Bronze Star in Iraq. He is VERY supportive of the mission there and DOES NOT want to have us leave before the mission is completed, even with his sons in the Army, too.
Our military excavated mass graves while building schools, hospitals and civic structures.
This is our generations WWII, and those who oppose it would have opposed that war, too, imo, and how many would have been left to die, then?
Also.... there are senators with family in the war...Sen. Tim Johnson, for one, has a son in the army.

Excuse me man but what point are you trying to make?
That people shouldn't support there country and there troops across sea's? That since I myself am not in the army that I am a coward for supporting those who CHOSE to do so willingly?
I am guessing you are against the war and are also sitting at home typing stuff on your computer. what message are you sending our troops by saying " don't worry we will fix the mistake that you made by VOLUNTEERING to join this terrible and pointless cause".
I'm sure that they would dislike the way you mock their commitment to there country.
