I feel like doing something daring and a little naughty, so I was thinking of a piercing just above my clitoris. Im undecided because I dont know what other people may think. Is it skanky or sexy??

Skanky, definitely. I mean, suit yourself. If you want it, go for it. I find it utterly disgusting, though. And what if it were to get infected? I think that would be rather embarassing, don't you?

How many people are you planning to show this to? If you show it to every person you meet, skanky. If it only for a few select people, sexy! ;) I've had mine for over a year and I love it.
Also, I hope you mean you're gonna get your hood pierced, not the area above the clitoris. The vertical hood piercing is the only female genital piercing that'll give you any physical pleasure. All other genital piercings are just for looks.

It depends on who you ask. But personally, I wouldn't see it as skanky or sexy. I'd view it as (cliche, yes I know) art. I could take it or leave it. But you should really go for it if you're looking for something different! Cleaning and maintenance will be a pain and there is always the chance that your piercing will get rejected (this is where your body will naturally push it out of your skin). sounds like a painful but unique piercing. :)

It doesn't make much sense unless it's in the clitoris itself or the prepuce of the clitoris. But most women don't have a big enough clitoris to make this either safe or meaningful. If you've a very large clitoris, fair enough, if that's what you want. But if it's not considerably larger than normal, forget about the piercing.

Its very skanky and just as dangerous. You could get a serious infection from this and just what purpose do you think the piercing would serve?

Ouch, Well it's up to you, no-one on here can make up your mind for you, yes it is said to make you more sensitive to touch around that area, but at the same time it will leave you much more vulnerable to all sorts of infections, so if you do decide to have it done, go to a reputable peircing parlor and make sure they use sterilised surgical steel and not just any old peircing materials.

If you are a stripper or in porn, go ahead.
If you have a normal sex life with normal people, I wouldnt.
And people do this sort of thing for attention. Think about how you can seek attention in a more appropriate way.
