I have always had long periods lasting about 7-8 days. I have tried numerous birth control methods to shorten my period, but none of them helped. Now, that I am off the BC methods, I am still getting long, painful periods; is there an alternative method??

The website that's posted above is a blog website. I don't know of anyway to help you shorten your periods without taking something (herbal remedy, or birth control pills). For some women, exercise helps shorten periods and cramps, for others it makes it heavier. If it's this bothersome, you need to see your doc
