I am getting random small pimples around my face, and I want to save my face before I am covered in red pimples.
Using logic, I figured out that anti-bacterial hand soap gets rid of well...germs. Because I havn't been under any stress (in fact, I have been super happy the past few weeks) I doubt the pimples are from stress, which meant the pore was clogged with dirt. I also know that anti-bacterial soap dries out your hands if you use too much, and I know a lot of acne treatments dry out the pimple to get rid of it. So logically, wouldn't using anti-bacterial hand soap get rid of my pimples?

Logically it does sound good, but I know for a fact that if I put a little bit of toothpaste on a pimple it helps dry it up. Sometimes by morning. It's worth a try for you! Good luck!

I learned a little trick. Take a q-tip and put it in rubbing alcohol. Press on the pimple with the swab. Be careful not to get it on parts of the skin that are clear. Also be sure to use a good oil-free moisturizer. I don't think anti-bacterial sop would do too much for pimples though cuz all it does is kill germs.

Okay, first off, NEVER use olive oil on an acne prone face. That will make it worse. Second, use lemon juice twice a day, put it on a cottonball and rub it on your face. I just found out about this, my face was terrible broke out and I used the lemon juice for three days and my face is crystal clear. Third, if you wanna make a pimple less noticable instantly, this is gonna sound gross, but it works, use hemmroid ointment. Dab a bit on the pimple, the ingredients reduce the redness and swelling making the pimple less noticable. I advise buying a new tube just for your face. Both of these are completely safe and I swear on my life will work.

Not necessarily. Pimples may begin with dirt ( also commonly stress ) but they are technically MADE under the skin. But anti-bacterial soap may help agaisnt future break outs. Most soaps probably would.

I doubt it. It'd make the pimple CLEAN, but there's nothing in it to pull the bacteria out from the skin. It'd just sit over the skin and clean it up.
If you want something to dry out your skin overnight, try rubbing alcohol. I've NEVER heard of anti-bacterial soap for that kind of stuff, but rubbing alcohol definitely does the trick. One of those old quick fixes for girls. ;)

no never use an antibacterial soap on a pimple it changes the ph of your skin and dries it out causing it to produce more oil and eventually more pimples if you really want to reduce the size of a pimple over night put peroxide on a q tip never ever alchol this will help to reduce size remember that peroxide is only ment for a spot treatmenty not an atringent
if you want to reduce redness put clear eyes on it its sailine solution

it SOUNDS like logically it would, but it wont. Its different for your face, its not exactly "germs" that give you pimples, plus, the white stuff that comes out of the pimples, is a combination of your white blood cells trying to fight off the infection. Don't try antibacterial soap - use something with benzyl peroxide. (common ance medication - its in almost everything & very cheap - find it @ drug stores.)

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
