July 4th - Independence Day

2006-12-16 22:48:16 · answer #2 · answered by Sabrina 6 · 0 0

The fourth of July this year is going to be one day before the fifth. That's great cause last year they made it one day after the third, and man, that really messed me up. I remember one year they made it seven days before the eleventh and I got so confused I reserved the wrong weekend at Jellystone Park so we camped out at a truck stop and when I went back to work I lost 2 days pay! But this year they got it right! Hope this helps...............

America is the only country that celebrates the 4th of July, obviously because it's a celebration of our independence from Europe. I think though, that Europe is probally who should be celebrating for getting us to leave out on our own...LOL..

May 20th. Every year, if you go to your town's parade that night, they'll be shooting off fireworks. (WOW!!!!!!) And it's Independence Day and everything. So May 20th, be there.
