ok, funny story about equate tests. i took an equate pregnancy test about 3 years ago, and i didnt think i did it right, and no lines showed up on the test after 2or 3 minutes.not even the control line. so i threw the test in the trash, and told myself i'd test again the next week. i even checked it again the same night, about four hours later, and still no lines. anyway, my husband was using the bathroom the next morning and saw the test in the trash, so he picked it out and looked at it, and found out i was pregnant before i did! i took another test to make sure, and sure enough, nine months later we have a daughter! anyway, i think if you wet your test with water, it should be fine. good luck! babies are wonderful!

the equate ones dont last long at all!!!!!!!!!!!... But I bought an acuclear one.. and I am 3 months pregnant and both lines are still bright as ever.. Which im happy about .. because I kinda wanna keep it for a memory thing!! :-) So we will see... but i think you should get one of the acu clear ones.......i took the EQUATE test one morning and by the time my husband got home about 4:00pm it was faded and could hardly see it that good....
GOOD LUCK

They do fade, but most dont fade completely. I have the same test and you can still read it 6 1/2 months later.

it fades over time... but doesnt completly disappear. Unless you soak it in water or something. Some test show stronger lines... for a keepsake you should get EPT.

they don't continually "fade" after 10 min... they are basically not precise to study after 10 minutes as such issues as evaporation lines may lead on you to imagine that's helpful at the same time as that's not. The administration line reads the same way that the 2d line would in case you've been pregnant so that's going to stick round.

I took two pregnancy tests almost 6 years ago and the postive lines are still there. I saved them as keepsakes for myself. The brands were Answer and ClearBlue Easy.
Good luck and Congrats!!
