To me, it just means pretty decorations and an excuse to dress in a skanky santa outfit from Victoria's Secret.

Christmas is the birth of Jesus. And now a days people only see it has getting presents and not what the true meaning. He is the reason for the season, other wise would not be such thing has Christmas.
So people keep that in mind and the ones with children teach them the real meaning.

The meaning of Christmas has changed as I have gotten older in some ways but is always the beauty and wonder of the season. The joy of giving to family, friends, and those less fortunate especially children. Watching young children's anticipation of Santa..I still believe. Celebrating with my family and rejoicing in the most unselfish gift given, God's only son, Jesus' birth.

Christmas is when I get to see the best come out of the worst people. No other time of year is as magical in this way as Christmas is.

christmas is a time when Jesus came to forgive our sins. He came to bridge the gap between us and God that was caused because of sin. christmas is a time of giving, and celebration. we give presents to the less previlage, and it makes us happy to see the smiles on the faces of those children. it is a happy season. christmas is a time of family gathering, where it is the time all members of the family do not need to go to work, and the entire family can sit down and have a nice chat over a delicious dinner. christmas is a time of cleaning up the house, and whatever you did this year, in preparation for the new year, awaiting a new beginning in the new year.

I obviously know what the TRUE meaning of Christmas is, but what it means to me personally is spending time with my partner and children, family and friends.

Christmas is a time when people comes together as one. What i mean by that is when yours family enjoys spending time together and giving presents.

To me, Christmas means that it is the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a time to celebrate the birthday of a man that was not only a miracle in himself but that he was willing enough to die for us on the cross. That is what christmas means to me.

It is a time to try to capture the hope and wonder we all had as a child. It is a time to help less fortunate children have the hope and wonder we had as children. Its a time to celibrate the life of a child who would save the world.
