i have been omunicating with this man on the phone for the last 4yrs we previously had a relationship but that was many yrs ago he rings me almost every week but the real strange thing is he wont come see me he only lives about 1/2hour away he is very busy with a very hige profile job but i cant get an answer as to why he wont see me but wants to keep talking every week am i being unreasonable wanting to see him or has he got some unknown reason for not wanting to he flirts on the phone when we talk and he is the one to always call although i do txt him from time to time i just find it very strange why after talking for 4yrs he is so reluctent to visit if thats the case why does he keep calling i dont know what he is looking for in this relationship or if he is looking for anything at all i have told him not to call if he keeps refusing to give me an answer but he just keeps calling i do enjoy talking to him but i want more than just a 10min phone call a week

He is totally not into you "commitment" and quite frankly you deserve better you are not being unreasonable as such wanting to see this man but how long are you going to sit around waiting and wasting your own time when your ears are hearing him say "he doesn't want to meet with you"
You need not confuse yourself with this person any longer, he is thoughtlessly tormenting you and making you feel bad about yourself.
You need to let go of him and free yourself, change your phone numbers so he can't interrupt your life anymore and find some one who actually cares enough about you to want to see and be with you on equal terms.

Why would you talk to someone on the phone for 4 years who lives a half hour away and can't be bothered to come see you?
Ding ding....There's something wrong with this picture. Either you maintain the status quo or you try to find someone who is available and wants to spend time with you.

He's probably married. This is a fantasy thing for him and meeting in person will ruin the dream. Drop him and don't allow him to take another year out of your life.

he has a secret life - either married, in a relationship or gay - get over him and move on. there are men out there you can see face to face and have a real relationship with instead of huff puffing over the phone. have his calls blocked.
