So I am chatting with this girl today and then she tells me she is too chicken sh*t to have her own kids because of the pain. What a loser right?

(Spoken like a man who knows he never has to deal with the pain of childbirth...)

Well maybe if you had to carry around a kicking basketball around for nine months then push a watermelon through your peehole you might have a little compassion and empathy.

You could also tell her that there are drugs availiable so women feel very little or almost no pain. Then take her to a good and reputable doctor who could explain the pain process to her that may help her to aleviate her fears. Also a doctor will remind her that most women do not remember the pain shortly after the birth.

Also try to imagine taking a **** the size of a watermelon ask yourself, would a loser hold it in or crap it out like a man?

Oh contraire.... she should be made a saint.... The world has enough children, many of whom will never have a home. This planet has 6.5 billion people and counting, and counting, and counting. Should the lady not ever have children, look at her wonderful options _ she'll be able to have more that $250,000 more in her IRA (the cost of raising one kid to age 20) she can take a husband and the two of them travel the world because they would have two incomes. Children are not binders, they are divisive, and more and more marrying couples are choosing to remain childless......and in First World countries where a pregnancy is a choice, these upper class couples are indeed choosing to be childless and enjoying all the lovely things money can buy. Italy, for example, at the present rate of growth is now loosing population..... Having children doesn't necessarily guarantee that they will all grow up and continue to love you.... that, of course we all know, since we all have friends who have family members who are not speaking..... So, no sweetie, being childless has some real advantages..... think about 'em...
Helpful??

No! There are plenty of kids that need good homes out there and just because she has low pain tolerance is no need to judge her like that. I have two kids and the pain was so bad during birth and I don't care what anyone says you don't forget the pain...plus I had to have an emergency c-section the first time after being in labor for more than 34 hours...so I would disagree with you. Would you want to have a baby come out of you?

Having children is an extremely personal choice! There is nothing wrong with a woman who does not want to have children. I've heard people say that people who don't have kids are selfish. If you ask me, it is more selfish to bring a child into the world when you are truly not ready to be a parent, or just to feed your own ego, thinking you are "continuing" a part of yourself into the future. The only true reason one should have children is because they truly want to nurture and raise a family.

Plus, the world isn't exactly "suffering" from underpopulation!

I consider that questions statement extremely narrow minded and ignorant. How many other things can a person, never mind if they are a male or female, do, to contibute to this world. Social justice issues, global issues, environmental issues, volunteer work etc. A person can offer so much to the world if they choose to see it that way and work with what is in their means, small or large scale.
When you say not having children, do mean biologically or through adoption or both? That statment doesn't really clarify much. If you want to focus on this not having children thing, well then I say a women's primary role does not have to be defined as having children, they can if they wish, but there are many things that women (and men) can do to contribute to the world.

Wrong.

A loser is someone who isn't responsible enough to have a child and has one (or more) anyway. A loser is someone who knownigly isn't financially or emotionally capable of being a parent, and has kids anyway. This means men and women.

The biggest losers are people who think women are just breeders with no thought or control over their own bodies and actions.

What a different world this would be if people actually THOUGHT about what it takes to be responsible parents before having kids.

I'm sure the reasons for her not wanting to have children run far deeper than the pain, because there are several medications on the market today that have virtually eliminated labor pains. Either she is young and that opinion will change, or she is afraid that she may not have what it takes to be a good mother.

No. the losers are the kids who come into the world without a chance because their parents either don't want them or are in no position to care for them. This isn't fair to the child. She is making a very responsible choice if she truly doesn't want kids.

She is not a loser. She may just know that she isn't ready or just isn't capable of taking care of children. A waste of life? How so? Heres a hypothetical question. What if she is a doctor or police officer or a teacher? There is more to life then having babies.

NO, because there is a lot of different reasons a women doesnt want to have kids, she isnt chicken, maybe she doesnt want to bring children into this world because of how bad it is becoming. I would love to have kids! But I have a lot of friends that dont want kids for that reason, they want to adapt and try to raise the kids right. Good luck in all you do!
