yes.under certain circumstances,i.e.judges and jurors to an innocent person.or even a fragile mental state of mind against a devious "genius" so i believe an opinion can cause insanity.especially if it becomes an obsession..bipolar and schizophrenic victims may obsess while not medicated...many possibilities..the average person will not fall victim to insanity though...as for the perception...we create a big part of our reality..therefore even a minute change in perception can cause a huge change in reality...its called growing up and/or simply learning from ones experiences..understanding and life in general.if one "hated" God,then found Christ, would that not be a prime example of you question?

None really. I'm set in my ways. All stories are created from what is popular, what is instinct, nd what is different. Those stories had to be based on something, and that something is the ideals of life as well as pushing the boundaries. I feel it's a bit easier for me to understand instinctive people because that's all I saw during high school. I study people, watch the way they walk, how fast a smile can turn into a dreadful cringe, and even how drama can play in. All I see in these anime are basic facts of life and a push of the boudaries. The newer stuff is trying to be more phylisophical in my opinion. To me, that's just plain boring. I already know our faults and demises. And I already know that those things such as insticts will surely never change. Deathnote, as everyone has said, was trying to push those boundaries, yet found that the ending ended with the main characters dying by their own hand pretty much. Sorry, but I think anyone can figure out that a utopia idea would completely bomb within a few years XDD. One more thing: Stories are usually grown from fact. Again, Death Note was obviously a pictorial of the time period where Russia was overthrowing it's monarchy to become one (in otherwords, communism). That's exactly the history that anime reminded me of. FMA was loosely based on the WWII Facts such as Shamballa (it was a real cult religion among anglio-saxons) and the study of rockets. If you watch the history channel once in a while, I'll bet you a thousand points you can see a similarity with popular anime and a history happening during the late 1800's and early 1900's. (depending on which program you watch e.e). So, when you think anime has really changed your perspective, study people, read some history books, even talk to people about life. It's all there, we just see a creator's/animator's view of it. bya

yes and to the second question that could be applied to driving a car, if you don't give your full attention to the road the results can be life changing leaving you to see life totally different.
