If your smart, try internship for a law office or something similar. That's what I did and it gave me a lot of insight into the world of business.

Law is the rules of business, you can't have one without the other. I don't think you can have a job in a corporate environment, it's too fast and hectic, you will just slow down operation. Law office however, it's not that time structured and people there have the time to walk you through your baby steps, the corporate world however, you must be on your feet and if your not fast, you get run over. It's not personal, it's just business.

So if I were you, get a part-time job at a law firm, or a law office. Start from there and you will know how and what type of business you want to get in. Good luck.

For about 100 years now, we have had safeguards in place called Child Labor laws. Look at the scenario from the employer's perspective, for crying out loud!! (sorry). They are taking on a tremendous potential liability in worker's comp premiums, day-to-day safety, the number of hours per day and per week that you can be allowed to work during the school year and also when school is not in session -- I honestly do not know how the law treats home-schooled teenagers whose calendar is not necessarily the same as their rank-and-file counterparts in the government school systems. You said, your mom would rather get you a job.... Why not look into marketing your own skills, standing on your own two feet? Better yet, there are opportunities to get in business for yourself that would put any job scenario to shame. But you will not learn about them in the Prussian-model government school systems. Those were instituted about 100 years ago because big corporations and bureaucracies were going to need scads of people trained and indoctrinated to be content with mediocrity all their lives. Did a pretty good job at it, wouldn't you say? It has taken me this long to overcome my abused childhood, a.k.a. public school education -- I'm 45 !!

well all you have to do is sign up, do two page servays ( like for ex. oone page type in you e-mail and the next page type in your address. But u can make up your address.) really though its not a scam. you get money for doing servays. im only 15 years old and im not old enough to get a job. not for another yr. so i do these. you get a check in the mail every month. i just started last month and last month i made $156. just try it. you just have to be 12 years of age and older!!! Go to http://www.*************/index.php?ref=76621 .... it's a great way to make some extra cash for christmas. and if you sign up each person get a $25 christmas bonus plus the money you get from survays. good luck and have a merry christmas!!!!

Probably not for internships, like in college. But some will hire you to do mail services and other types of work.

No, not at that age. If fast food isn't for you, you can try Wal-Mart.
