why does the urge to piss differ from the fullness of the bladder?

sometimes i can piss forever, then sometimes i piss just a little bit, but the urge to piss will be relatively the same. what dictates when your body tells you you have to piss.?? i would like to know what triggers the piss urge so i could control it better and save up a whole day of piss and let it out all at one time.

The bladder is covered with a thin coat of skin called the epithelium. When it starts to become full, it stretches this skin which begins to "leak" molecules called ATP, which provide the message to the brain that it's time to take a pee. So, once the epithelium is stretched enough to release the ATP, the signal goes out. If you ignore it your bladder will continue to fill and thus, you may pee a lot or a little, depending on how long you wait. By signalling "early" it gives you plenty of time to make the proper arrangements. And you really don't want to hold onto your pee for a whole day. That has consequences that are not pleasant.

Usually when your bladder is full then it communicates fullness to brain which will tell you/gie you the Urge to urinate. The bladder becomes full by the amount of water/liquids you actually drink and the amount of liquids is present in the foods you eat. I guess you could work on ignoring the Urge or drink most of your water/liquid at a given time-takes approx 30 minutes for the bladder to fill up with water- BUT I Wopuld Advise gainst Doing this since you will develop Bladder problems.Keeping the waste liquid in your bladder for long periods of time leaves the waste in your system and could/would cause harm for they are meant/supposed to leave the Body-the purpose of urinating is to get the waste stuff out- to keep it from harming your health.

Why would you want to do that? Its best to let it out when you feel the urge...otherwise, it could cause infections.
