shrek, the first night they camp, Lord Fukwad is in bed telling the mirror to show him the princess again. Then hes like aah, he lifts the blanket and looks under the covers, smiles and says oooh.

NOW I am not a prude by any means but this movie is aimed at children. Am I the only one that finds this disturbing. I only noticed cause I have to watch some part of this movie everyday ,lol
Was wondering if I was just getting to old.

I know they need to make the movie fun for the parents too BUT these movies are rated for kids so it should be as so. I remember watching MTV there was no sexual innuendo. thanks for the great answers

I have heard of many perverted things "hidden" in various Disney movies. Some of these include: the tower on the original cover of The Little Mermaid that bears a stricking resemblance to the male genitalia, a scene in The Little Mermaid where the priest has an erection, one of the tower's of the castle is actually a male p*n*s, a part in The Lion King where the dust rises spelling out SEX, and a scene in Aladdin where Aladdin can be heard saying "good teenagers, take off your clothes." In the original movie The Rescuer's when they are flying in the sardine box, the background picture contains two topless women causing them to re-make the movie and leaving the background pics out. This to me is something I would rather not let my son watch. I mean these movies are for kids not sexually active people. C'Mon if they want my money for the movies then they need to leave this crap out!!

You are very observant.. Shrek 1 & 2 I have to say are really not movies for children. The humor was more geare to adults, who still rememebr all the classic fairy tales..gone wrong aka. a shrek.
A lot of the jokes were just not appropriate .lol Pinnochio in the thong..the wolf reading "Pork Illustrated"..but I guess if only we as adults get them it's okay...

They like to sneak adult humour into the kids movies once inawhile. It's there in shrek 2 as well.

Yes, I've noticed it. More and more cartoons are putting innuendos in them. What ever happened to the age of innocence?

yeah, there are a lot of little things in Shrek for adults. i've seen it at least 60 times (i've got a 6-year-old) i'm still catching little jokes like that.

If you rewatch any of the disney movies there are a LOT of sexual inneuendos. Like in Beauty and the Best(one of my favs)Lumier is making out with the feather duster behind a curtain and she says "oh no oh no" and he goes "oh yes oh yes"....date rape hahahahaha not really but it always makes me think of it.

yeah i noticed it too and yes i think it is also very disturbing...and they shouldn't put those kind of things in children movies...they are making 'shreck the third' so yeah i wonder how that will turn out...if you want to look it up go to 'IMDb.com' and search it...

i noticed this too. in a lot of children's movies there are all sorts of sexual/adult innuendo's. they're things that children would NEVER pick up on, or at least they shouldn't.
