The Internet has been tracking these people lately. There was a story posted on Yahoo, about a week ago, talking about how people from Africa and the UK,have been sending bogus emails, stating that they need people from the US,to help them get money, from some dead relative of theirs. Some emails also state, that you have won the Lottery in their country (How?). As you probably know, these emails are not true, and you must be careful as to how you download information, and never "click on" to ads that are posted along-side of any sites you look at. "Spam" these emails and don't open them. These people KNOW,when you have opened it. You can also "Forward" them to: abuse@yahoo.com

Yup! They'll send you a nice big check. The check will be no good. But they'll be in a real big hurry for you to cash them out. Your funds might be good, so they'll make out ok, but their check to you? Why should it be good? This is what I have HEARD. THANKFULLY, I have never done more than simply "Spam-out" such stupid e-mails. They always seem to come from a stranger, have some reference to an African country, and want to immediately get me involved in the banking business. If I wanted to go into the money-lending business and succeed in it, I would first go to school and learn from successful bankers how they built their financial empires. I'm pretty sure none of them got their start, by responding to unsolicited e-mails from the Ivory Coast.

It is a scam. All unsolicited emails that ask for personal information are BIG scams. I always delete any emails asking for personal info.

They usually tell you that someone has died and your name was given as a reputable contact. <<<>> Never give out your banking info.

if you fall any of that hogwash, you need to have your head examined..get real..thats about as bogus as a three dollar bill.. in fact, if you want to have some fun, e mail them back and tell them that you will only use money denominations of threes and fours.. tell them to give you their address and you will send them all the three dollar bills you have and that they then can keep two dollars of it and send you a one dollar bill.. they make a huge profit..but don't ever give anyone your banking information..because if you do..you will loose..
