I'm American and she is from Peru, she came here three years ago
She loves me and I love her,, so you would think that we would at least stay together for a whie but here is the problem
her family which are all illegal immigrants are ignorant towards Americans,, not all but some like her sister in law
this is her best friend, but she will tell my girlfriend bad things about me and the problems with stupid gringos, If I ask my girlfriend to come out with me,,she will have to tell the women, and she will always say,,,what with that stupid,,boring gringo
she and a few others are really trying to manipulate her into breaking up with me,,,,,Im tall and good looking,, so maybey it is becuase they are jealous I don't know,,but they have a lot of influence over her,,and it really bothers me
I brought it uo once to my girlfriend and she said that these are her best frinds and she takes what they say seriously

Hmm sounds like your in a bit of a situation. Don't worry though, you aren't the first one to have to go through this.The best advice i can offer you is this....There is a reason she is still with you. I think she feels a little torn between her friends and you. She should stick up for you when they do talk, but perhaps she is a little inverted. Have you explained to her how it makes you feel? All that matters is what she thinks of you...not what others are saying. I don't think it is impacting her being with you because she is still with you. Try to explain to her how it makes you feel. If this problem isn't fixed quite soon...you are bound to have a problem. Good Luck to you.

They aren't ignorant. You have tyo undestand you lame wad that they fear for their saftey to remain here. It's a stereotypical situation where they cannot trust and all you have to do is wait and trus that she will not fall for their lies. You have no influence over her family nor her. You just have to hope that her family won't convince of the "great" guy that you are. If not, then you are screwed.

It seems like her friends don't like you so you need to be patient because i can see that she respects her friends opinions. How long have you been seeing this girl? if it's been awhile she should know enough about you that you won't hurt her or treat her badly. You really need to talk to her and if it is true love SHE will do everything she can to be with you no matter what her faimily or friends tell her. GOOD LUCK

if her parents are illegial immagrents and have problems with american then I would report them because they are the ones choosing to live in the US and they should at least be nice to americans 'specilly if the a few americans know about it cause they can get sent away and what not
