Has the PS3 hype already settled?

they're going for much less on ebay than they were at the beginning.....why?

It's starting to slow down because PS3's are slowly trickling into retail stores.

It's starting to slow down because PS3's are slowly trickling into retail stores. But not really because the first day on ebay they were selling for $2000 bucks now $1500-$1900.
