#3 would be me . I am a born giver I give all the time not just At Christmas. I rarely get gifts other than close family. I still like giving. It's just me. It's what I do.

my parents were always good to have christmas. but its kinda like mute point when you get a present from santa and you know that your step father brought in all the presents while you couldnt sleep at the age of 9. the ten speed bike was a great gift.
And although i generally only give presents to those close to me. i have generally not had anyone close for several years. in fact christmas just seems like another day anymore. I did buy some choclate last year for my landlord and roommate. he likes chocolate

3. Christmas is primarily for giving... and of course receiving is the other end of giving... but I try not to expect any gifts... because then those gifts become "obligations" and lose all sense of the meaning in which they were given - a gift - something undeserved and unwarranted given for free without expectation or restraint.
