Both of my sons are having a christmas party at school. One of my sons is 6 and the other is 10. They are required to bring a gift for a boy to exchange that is under $10. What should I consider buying the two boys? (6 and 9 year old) I am not going to give them a gift card because they may not feel like they got something good.

Get a marvel toy for the gift exchange. Different character for each boy. For example, one son can get a Fantastic Four action figure and the other like an incredible hulk or Spiderman action figure. Practically any action figure that a boy would love.
