I love wearing stuff that nobody else has or stuff that's really creative.I want to make some easy DIY clothes 1st like a top or skirt mostly a top.I love lolita fashion mixed with gothy/punkish stuff.Anyone have any DIY tips? on making tops and skirts?.

I've made quite of a few clothes myself, and I would say that if you've never done it, start with a skirt. My sister's favorite way to make a skirt is to use a pillow case. Simply cut the seamed edge, hem it and add either elastic or a drawstring. She usually goes to the thrift store by us to buy the pillow cases. It does look pretty neat. Shirts are a little bit harder to make. I would sugget going to a sewing store near you and looking at the different patterns they have to see if anything catches your eye. Also, just start looking at how clothes are pieced together.
