You don't necessarily have to deal with housing, and you don't have to have student loans either. There are several financial and merit based scholarships at most/all colleges, which would allow you to get a higher education without the costs. Also, many people think that the investment is worth it....for example, a business grad can be making $300k within a few years of graduation. It can be worth it! I'm sure no one enjoys repaying the loans, but in most cases, it is worth it.

You can set up student loans so your payments dont start till after your out of school or you can take the more practical route and run your hobo whore train through an automatic car wash. The hot wax makes man juice run right off! I can trade my soul for delicious sam adams? Where do I sign up for that

I'm sure you're going to get a lot of people on here saying they wont join the military because they don't want to die for Bush's war. Don't they realize they can still die while going to college too? I have seen a lot of reckless behavior from college students.

I look at like this..If that's the only BS I ever have to deal with I am Dam- blessed. but It's not and it never will be..Some of use chose not to go or are not in the health to be able to go..single parents can't go anyway..if you choose to go, that's your business ..personally I would rather deal with the BS than worry about getting my AZZ shot off in war

No offense, but I am glad that I am not in Iraq or Afghanistan being shot at and having mortars lobbed over my head. I went to college tuition paid, because my father was a disabled veteran.
