In looking at your questions tonight it is obvious you were born two hundred years to late. Men and women in a marriage should be partners in all things. What is this "obeying" crap anyway?

Who says husbands are the head of the house? REAL men let wives take equal control in the relationship. Obviously you're too much of a little boy to understand that. See if any woman in her right mind ever agrees to associate with you.

No marriage is 50/50. And if not that marriage will not work. You live in 2006 so no the husband is not the King to obey.

NO!
In truly evolved cultures (as in NON muslim), wives and husbands are equal partners in a relationship. If one makes enough money that the other doesn't have to work, then the non-employed spouse should be the primary child-care parent.

It works most of the time here in the USA!!

It's easy to obey a husband if he had sense. Unfortunately, that is not happening anymore. :( You want an obedient wife, treat her like a princess. It is easy to obey someone that is good to you. Otherwise, it ain't gonna happen.

Depends on what you believe I guess. But if you are referring to the biblical point of view I believe that God also put a responsibility on the man to love, protect and provide for his wife as Christ did for the church. All of those things considered then the answer may be yes.

But, if you are asking, "can I order her around and have my way all the time" then I would have to politely ask you to shove it and call it a day.

Yes, but the man is to love his wife as himself. Realize that BOTH are written in the same Chapter of Timothy. Paul was instructing Timothy in the faith. This does not mean that he should be horrible to his wife, after all, He doesn't hurt himself much does he?? I would say that if he wants to use this to his advantage then he and you BOTH need to study both of the books of Timothy. Have a great holiday!
