"Home for Christmas" is my all-time favorite Christmas song. It is beautiful and simple and it exactly captures all the heartache felt by people (especially those in the various branches of the military) who can't be with their families during the time of year when family ties are restrengthened and reemphasized.
I also like a song my high school acapella choir sang called "Prayer of the Children". It is an a'capella piece that was arranged for all men's voices; it is heartbreaking, haunting, and beautiful.

I believe "Silent Night" has been translated into some 300 different languages, so that must be the most universal, plus there's an interesting story behind it, as well as a web-cam showing the spot where it was 1st performed. Because of the aforementioned, that carol would have to be #1 on my favorite list!

my favourite christmas carol is " The Little Drummer Boy". I can relate with him being poor and not able to give a gift to the new King.

my favorite carol is rockin' around the christmas tree because it is very fun and and it reminds me of how much fun things there are about christmas and that it is a very special time of year.

Jingle Bell Rock I just think it's catchy...and other than the fact I really despise most Christmas music.
