How do i setup a wireless gaming netework?

hi i bought Command & Conquer and i wanted to play my brother i have wireless router conecting my computer and my laptop to the internet how can i connected both computers to play each other C&C

There are two different main options that are wireless.
1.You just connect to a wireless router, but you have to have a really good signal to it otherwise it will be laggy.
2.If the computers are somewhat close you can make something called a computer to a computer network
3.(if you want it to be wired) You could plug a ethernet cable from the computer to the other computer, or use a wired router the advantage to the wired router is you could have alot of computers plugged into it and have alot of people playing that game.

Don't waster your time the 802.11 protocol is basically an best effort asynchronous transfer method. Horrible for gaming. You will get the best game play by connecting the two computers with a cross-over cable...
