nope, and he wasn't the only one who attacked Caesar either. He did it with the honest belief that he was saving Rome. He did it to preserve democracy

No. Brutus helped to kill Julius Caesar because he thought that Caesar wanted to be named king. Brutus was probably right. Julius's nephew and adopted son Octavian hunted down Brutus and the other conspirators, defeated and killed them, and then became the first of the Roman emperors, Caesar Augustus.

No, Brutus killed Caesar, to prevent HIM from being emperor.
Brutus represented those in the Senate that wanted to return to a Republic.

No. He did it because he thought it would be best for Rome. He didn't realize that Caesar didn't want to become King which he could have many times.

No, he killed (and others) assassinated Caesar because they thought the Roman people were going to make him emporer and that went against their ideal of rule by a group of people.
