I had a D & C performed on Thursday Dec. 14 after several weeks of heavy bleeding. I had cramping and light spotting the day of the D & C, and on Friday I had no symptoms except for a little soreness. Today, Saturday Dec. 16, I began having bad cramps and heavy bleeding just like before the D & C. I don't know if I need to see the Doctor ASAP or if it is normal. Please help...

It is actually normal to bleed for up to 2 weeks after a D&C. I wouldn't get worried about it but use a pad for the time being.
If you are unwell with fever or chills, feeling sick like you have the flu, poor appetite ... etc. then you should go to the hospital over the weekend.
If you are well despite all of this, you can wait until Monday and call your doctor.
