Anyone lived there in the last few years?

I am moving there and want to get a perspective of living there not visiting - believe it or not it is a totally different experience - having lived overseas elsewhere I can confirm that.

Hello, some places that are very interesting to visit are:

Museo Archeologico Nazionale.
This museum has all of the interesting finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Mount Vesuvius.
The only active volcano on the mainland of Europe.

Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

Certosa di San Martino and Museo dell'Opera.
This museum contains a ceiling painting of the "Ascension" by Lanfranco and the ceiling fresco of the "Triumph of Judith".

Castel Nuovo.

Museo e Gallerie Nazionali di Capodimonte.
This 18th-century museum houses collections from renowned artists as Masaccio, Titian, Raphael, El Greco and Bruegel.

Santa Chiara.
Built between 1310 and 1328, in a provincial gothic style.

... and many more attractions... it's a beautiful city.

Enjoy!

Naples City Profile
Naples Introduction:
Naples, Napoli in Italian, is the third most-populated city in Italy and the biggest city in Southern Italy. Its close proximity to many interesting sites, such as Pompeii and the Bay of Naples, makes it a good base. Naples is a lively and vibrant city, full of wonderful historical and artistic treasures and narrow, winding streets with small shops, making it worth at least a few days visit. The name comes from the Greek Neapolis meaning new city.
Naples Location:
Naples is in the region of Campania in Southern Italy, about 2-hours south of Rome. It sits on the coast on the northern edge of the Bay of Naples, one of the most beautiful bays in Italy. Its harbor is the most important port in Southern Italy.
