Great Question and thank you for participating. I'm assuming you're refering to an image that has, over a period of time, burned into your computers monitor. This happens when you dont use screensavers as they keep that from happening. When a particular picture is left on the screen for long periods of time, it slowly burns that imagine into the screen and no, there's no way to remove the problem. I work for Radio Shack and of course we have the same problem, simply because our main screen is up there all the time, waiting for a sale. You can see the burned in image no matter what's really being shown on the screen. Hope this helps. Larry Radio Shack 01-9590

Oh a CRT type monitor the best answer is a small sledgehammer. On an LCD or Plasma display you'd most likely need some gasoline and matches. Since it is burned in from the inside out, you are somewhat out of luck. If it is just some "stuck pixels" there are shareware utilities that cycle each pixel on the screen through all the colors to reset the dead or malfunctioning pixels.

if its rewritable CD then format it. otherwise physically damage it.
