No, I do not think this is weird. You 2 are just best friends who happen to be different genders. If you also like him in the same way he does then go for a stronger realationship. Don't worry about what other ppl think about having a boy as a best friend. The only thing that matters is that you know it isnt weird!

its not weird if u have a guy as a best friend. and i would imagine when u get older since u have been good friends he'll start to like u. its not weird and dont think ur weird either. its just what will happen a lot

you can have friends of all shapes sizes, colors, races, sexual preferences, and religion. Thats whats having a friend is all about. Learning new and exciting things everyday. My friend who is 16 years older then myself and we ended up being together and soon getting married. Hope everything works well.

it happened to me and my best friend and we went out for a while and then he cheated and broke up with me but now we are still best friends
