how do i contact local stores to see if they will use my home baked cookies in their store?

Just put on your best business attire and go in and talk to the manager/owner. Give them your best sales pitch and take samples with you. The worst they they can say is no. If they do just move on the next shop. Go for it! Good luck!

You can't sell your cookies to the public unless your kitchen passes a govt. inspection. Unless all your countertops are stainless steel, it won't.

They probably won't due to health hazards. They can't be responsible for customers getting sick.
