Well, it's not one I have eaten myself, but it sounds good.

Firstly, Tisha soup. This is likely to be mistaken for the main dish but is only the beginning.

Main course: Beef on Tish..

One that is better if the juices of the first course are allowed to run on to the beef.

Remember, try to use tongue in the first course, not only does it melt in the mouth, but it's tender and tastes good to.

For dessert?

Layers of cream for the hostess to enjoy, and seconds if your good.

Merry Christmas.

Baked sweet ham (pour a bit of coke over the ham about every 15-20 minutes during baking). This draws the salt out and the ham tastes great. A 7 layer salad can be made the night before; it is simple and simply wonderful. Buy some canned Italian or flat green beans and cook them in a pan with a splash of olive oil and some chopped onion. Shortly before serving stir some real bacon bits into it. A pan of frozen yeast rolls are easy and tasty. You can buy a red velvet cake mix which is festive yet easy. A special touch would be to use the cooked icing on it. A pitcher of iced tea, a pot of coffee, some bottled water and you have it made. Best of luck.

Ham, canned sweet potatoes with brown sugar, canned or frozen vegetable [you can always dress it up with cheese sauce], canned cranberry sauce, brown and serve rolls, or some you got in the bakery that just has to be warmed up, purchased carrot cake and pumpkin pie from the bakery, and buy some whipped cream in a can for the pie. Check the deli section for a salad, like ambrosia or 7-layer salad, or buy one in a bag and some salad dressing. All you would have to do to that is wash it.
If you are really strapped for time or skill, buy the sweet potato casserole in the frozen food section. And if you want one home made item, pick the pumpkin pie. It is so easy, buy a deep dish pie shell, mix all the sugar and spices and pumpkin, put the eggs in another bowl, whip them, then put them, then the milnot in, pour into the shell, and bake. Simple!
Appetizers can be simple, there is a whole line of them in the frozen food section, or just do cheese, or a cheese ball, and crackers. Wine should be a sweeter white, or pink, or both to go with the ham.
For Thanksgiving, I bought a Butterball turkey breast, and a cooking bag. I followed the directions, and made the gravy package. It was very moist. You could make mashed potatoes, or buy them already mashed. It was easy!
If you want ice tea, buy that in a gallon in the refrig section, or some lemonade.
