I would recommend several things:
1. Drink lotsa water. Skin hydrates best from the inside out.
2. Use a good moisturizer, not the kind with mineral oil. Mineral oil does not soak into your skin, the microbes are too big. It sits on top of your skin, and therefore doesn't moisturize.
3. Definitely wear a foundation over your moisturizer. It will keep the cold dry air from zapping the moisture out of your skin.
The product line I sell is absolutely the BEST!
i use Arbonne's mineral powder foundation, hence dont need a powder afterwards. Arbonne's "Intelligence" skin care system is wonderful and will really help your skin feel and BE moist!

I would say to use moisturizer that is heavier than normal moisturizers. This would be the kind that you wouldn't use during other seasons because it would be too heavy. Your best bet would be to go to makeup counters and see which brand carries moisturizer that's meant for really dry skin or for cold weather. I believe that once you're skin is really hydrated, it won't matter what kind of foundation or powder you're using. It all comes down to your face being prepped to wear foundation/powder. :)

All right! Well, here's a little trick I learned from my sister. Take some moisturizer and a very small amount of foundation and mix them together. Make the moisturizer be about three times the foundation and mix them together in your palm. Then apply to your face. As for powder, brush on lightly with a soft brush.

I love Bare minerals, but if you need to use a foundation you can mix your lotion and foundation together, it goes on smoother. Use facial products for dry skin and exfoliate and mask once a week, and as for what the best product is that is up to you, try different things out.

You should apply moisturizer on first. It's lotion for the face. Then apply foundation. I personally love Covergirl Aquafresh.

About your dry skin, I wouldn't worry about having to by make up products that are intended for dry skin.

For me, I live in Calgary and in the winter is gets crazy cold and DRY, I exfoiliate. Exfoiliate exfoiliate exfoiliate!!!!!! You must! And then moisturerize. For me I exfoiliate every second day, and it keeps my skin very smooth and not dry at all.

Hope that helps!

There really is no make-up to cover dry skin or help it, only exspensive make-up. To stop dry skin is to wash yor face every night and put on cream, prefferably shea butter.
