Why do some people prefer darkness to light?

i dont know why i like the dark so much. i guess its beautiful and mystierious in a way and i like mystery. and things just seem to look different in the dark and more real. i seem to be able to survive more bearably at night. idk. excelent question

Pitch black dark kind of scares me, but i do prefer night time to day time. I don't know why, maybe i'm just a dark person.

No idea. I bet blind people couldn't care less if it were night or day. I hope there are no blind people afraid of the dark.

You can see the universe..Just look up..Its beautiful..The animals all romp around as well at night if you are in a rural area...and the quietness is wonderful..

i dont like it when its totally dark it gives me the creeps

i like it ,it's my only escape from a bright noisy day.
