Hold back a bit. Let another person take the lead. Be prepared to listen and give someone else the floor. From the tone of your question it sounds like you're coming on a little strong.

I don't know how old you are and what career choice you made or have to make but: WHY OH WHY CHANGE, you are who you are, why try to change it. If your personality is a natural extension of your mind and body, it will only resurface in another way. As the old proverb says: Chase the natural and it will comebacl with a vengeance. If you are happy the way you are, let the others adjust to you. How is your self esteem? Be yourself and enjoy. Don't let anyone try and change you, you will not be happy.

try to speak softer and with a clear smooth tone, lower voice tones are appropriate for all occasions, and be aware at all time how you are saying things. Sometimes this just comes with age, but at least you are aware of it. Meditation helps a lot with calming....

how you see yourself is how other people see you, If you see yourself as a loud mouth there is your problem. see your self as a shy quite type, everyday say to one person. I am a the strong silent type
