Women who are attracted to convicts are often rescuers who don't feel they really have anything to offer functional men who live outside the criminal lifestyle.

it has been said it is because brute men are attracted because they are more aggressive in nature. But at the same time there are many women who want Caring and Tender men too. usually a women who gets attatched to a brutish man will suffer. Even with the equal rights thing women were oppressed and they cried out in abuse.
if any woman were righteous they would reject all criminals and such wickedness would be cut off genetically.

Actaully, many women like the "bad boys", and many women like guys they feel need a woman to help them -- kind of like a mother complex.
However ... I like nice men :) WITHOUT RECORDS! ;)
