yep you can give her homemade soup and yogurt... i used to take whatever we were having for dinner and put it in the food processor for my kiddo (her pediatrician actually told me to do that)
It made my life easier and allot cheaper to!

by 8 months she can have iron-fortified infant cereals and pureed vegetables and fruits that have been introduced as part of their diet along with breast milk or formula. u can give her new foods as a trial run to look for any allergic reactions. Do not feed your child whole eggs, citrus fruits, fish and seafood, nuts (including peanuts and peanut butter), or honey. baby foods are still really good to feed your baby so she can try different textures of food so keep trying make it fun. ( my nephew is often hard to feed ) yogurt wont hurt, you can get special yogurt for young children, or normal yogurt should be find sometimes thats all a baby willl eat until they get use to solids

Throw out the jars and make your own from the foods YOU eat. Also part of the reason she doesn't like solids is the texture, it's not the food nor the taste it is the texture. Remember up until they start eating cereal the only thing they have injested as far as nourishment has been a smooth liquid. At 8 months she is being introduced to foods that are 'slimy' 'crunchy' 'grainy' and yes she is going to spit them out. You just keep shoving them in until she realizes that they don't taste that bad and she gets used to their texture.

umm well u could always just take the food out of the can and serve it to her. shes 8 months old u wont know the difference. and thats not healthy to only be having milk. its never good to have too much of something even if that thing is very healthy for u, because eventually that once good healthy thign will become very very bad for your child's health. thik about that next time u give ur child milk.

honestly as the mother do as you feel comfortable. i might not do yogurt yet however my first boy hated canned baby food. I would smash of food or boil it too soften it ( carrots, potatoes) and feed him that he loved it. I wouldnt be afraid to do soup just make sure you start with a little to be sure it dosent upset the tummy. you should do that with all foods though

My youngest was the same way, i nursed him for almost all of his nutrition, and tried and tried to get him to eat baby food and baby cereals. (My oldest 2 ended up will ing to eat baby ceral with breast milk, if it was drinkable.) When I finally gave up on baby food (fter several months I would give him bites of things that seemed easy to digest without chewing and little or no seasonings, off of my plate. Once in a while he would eat it, and then i was more likely to give it too him again. My doctor's biggest worry was that he wasn't getting enough meat, so i gave him that in baby food mixed with something he would eat of mine. Eventually he started eating baby food too, when that was all i had available.

Give her Stoneybrook farms natural yogurt. That was the first yogurt I gave my kids when they were about that age.

You can try mashing the food that you eat & serving it to your baby. She may like it:)
Have you tried baby oatmeal & rice cereal??
Wow-- it's strange that she doesn't like anything. My son is 8 months and he eats EVERYTHING that I offer to him.
Just keep trying-- she'll eventually eat something:)
