Maybe because none have ever run for the office.
Some say Secretary Condoleezza Rice may run for the office next time, and many believe she could win.

Personally I don't care what race or sex our next President is,
because I don't believe in racism, or sexism.
Just as long as they have both a heart and a brain, and they will represent the people of America instead of his own crazy ideas that the people who elected him hate.

There has never been any female president or vice president in the US. The US has been run by white men since it was founded and those white men are not ready to give up power. Ever. If a woman comes out and runs for president, especially a well known and trusted woman, she will probably be elected, especially after the debacle of Bush's presidency.

Thats just up to the people. A black female will be elected when the people elect one. Most Americans are sophisticated enough however not to vote solely just to get a certain race or gender into office. As we can see with Bush, most Americans vote based on qualifications

White people are not frightened of African people as much as they are repelled by ability of a small minority's place in making the great community look regressed and asocial. To destructive devil that requested for $a hundred is obviously mentally ill. eating at a Burger King is questionable.

Africans are not allowed to run for president of the US. If you are talking about a black American woman for president, none have ran!

Well, I think to a degree it has to do with whether or not they run.

Geraldine Ferraro ran for VP with Walter Mondale and lost.

Hillary Clinton might run in 2008.

As for African Americans, I don't feel anyone qualified has run yet. There are people who COULD run, possibly.

A presidential campaign is very expensive to run.

Because either no members of those groups have run for the office or the American people did not vote for them. As far as I know, not a single woman has run for the office but I am not totally sure about black people.

Either way, its not racism or sexism, its simply that they haven't run and/or haven't been voted.

The same reason there has never been a female president...

It has nothing to do with color. Black men gained the right to vote approximately 30 years before women did in this country.
