The most special thing I could think of is to remember what Christmas is really about. It is SUPPOSED to be a celebration of the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Make it not about presents but about your fellow man as Jesus would have. After all, to be Christian is to be like Christ. I am not saying you are christian or telling you to be but I hope you are. God bless you and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Skip the shopping and decorations and take the time out to dedicate a day to your fellow man. That's what the season is really about anyway. We've just forgotten that because manufacturers and retailers have far more sway than true tradition.

Try to care for you, your family and friends (regardless of any differences) and see how far love really goes. Special? Drop any idea of giving gifts and instead give your prescious moments to others of memories, fun times and heart to heart talks. Twenty years from now, this is what you will remember about your inner strength, beauty and commitment to mankind.

Don't do Christmas shopping except for food. Invite some homeless people to Christmas dinner and listen to what they have to say.

make gifts for others from scratch, from the heart. a photo in a specially decorated frame. paint a rock in their fav color and try to make their face on it. cut out a figure from anything (wood, paper, cardboard) and decorate it with memories of your love or friendship. someone gave me a wooden bear ornament but made loving eyes on it and said i love you on it. i never forget it.
or just make a poster with things like a collage of all the memories pasted everywhere with glitter and stuff, or have them over for a special meal and candles and romantic music
